COURSE DESCRIPTION
This unit covers the competencies required to manage design and construction of gents’ wear. It
involves planning for design and construction of gents’ wear, designing, sketching and
illustrating selected gents’ garments, constructing and cutting the garment patterns. It also entails
laying and cutting garment pieces, constructing the garment, finishing, accessorizing and
displaying the garment.
